karaoki exists to help you practice singing — nothing more. Pick a song, and we build an instrumental backing track plus lyrics synchronized word-by-word, so you can rehearse in private or with friends. It's a practice room, not a jukebox.

How it works
When you pick a song, our processing pipeline separates the vocal and instrumental stems, then transcribes and aligns the lyrics word-by-word. The result is a practice track: the instrumental playing in time with lyrics that light up as the song progresses — exactly the tool a singer needs to learn phrasing, timing, and pitch against the real arrangement.
The fun is the people
We love that singing is fun, and we want karaoki to feel like a party. The entertainment comes from what you and your friends do — taking turns, choosing songs, and hearing each other sing — not from republishing music. Processed audio stays in your practice session, and we keep a strict line on copyright: no public redistribution, no selling of tracks, and a fast, clear takedown process for rights holders.
